From War Hero to War Protestor

Charles Liteky won the Congressional Medal of Honor for heroism during the Vietnam War. He later renounced his medal in protest of U.S. policy in Central America and placed it at the foot of the Vietnam Memorial. From the University Lectues Program archive.
