Alec Nove is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Economics at the University of Glasgow. He is an Honorary Fellow of the London School of Economics, and a Fellow of the British Academy. His publications include Socialism, Economics, and Development; Economics of Feasible Socialism; and Efficiency Criteria for Nationalized Industries.
