A Town Hall Meeting with Rudy Giuliani
Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani has been praised for his leadership in the post-9/11 New York City recovery efforts, and honored with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Freedom Award, knighted by the Queen of England, and named Person of the Year by TIME magazine. He was born and raised in New York and attended Manhattan College and New York University Law School. The Reagan administration named him Associate Attorney General, where he supervised all U.S. attorney offices' law enforcement agencies. He also served as United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. In 1993 he became the first Republican elected Mayor of the City of New York in a generation.
